This week, we will be featuring a few dinner specials that seem (more) popular among us Keviians. So if you have yet to try out these specials, and trust that we aren’t kidding you when we say it’s good, go try it out this week! :)

For those who are unaware, Chicken Rice is an extremely popular dish in Singapore. Let’s see if our hall’s chicken rice measures up to expectations!

How could we miss this out, it’s so popular that it’s gone pretty fast!

 Next up, Nasi Lemak! :)

Can't miss nasi lemak with those sambal anchoives, peanuts and some cucumber.Another favourite of Keviians, the sambal chilli is the best part of this Nasi Lemak dish!

So, hopefully this essay gives you a better idea of what Specials you should be trying out this week! But do bear in mind that everyone has different tastes, so if you don’t like what we recommend, please don’t hunt us down! :P

Formal hall dinner 转眼就到了。这场盛会对hall freshie来说，无疑是充满期待的。然而，身为freshie的我们不禁对formal hall dinner有着许多疑问及猜想。在此，列出其中一二，给大家笑一笑，驱走ca及mid-term所带来的考试压力！

Freshie要找senior 当partner?

相信这是让许多想要去formal hall dinner 的freshie 望之却步的原因吧？有些block 的senior人数较freshie少，造成了僧多粥少的窘境。有些freshie面对senior却只能高唱“开不了口” （没办法嘛，才刚进来不久，还没打成一片嘛…）。相比之下，有些freshie就显得主动多了。最常见的情况就是，在一起闲话家常的时候，突然提及fhd，发现彼此都还没有partner.. 当下就马上答应成为彼此的partner了！

Formal hall dinner要做些什么？

到了那里，有些什么节目等着我们呢？只是吃顿饭就可以了吗？这都是我们想知道的问题。根据来自senior的情报，那天的节目有hallmaster的演说，介绍新任的jcrc，演唱hall song等等。当然少不了传说中的5 course-dishes啦！（呃…是五道没错吧？？）很多人都想看看这和平时的晚餐到底有何不同!

Formal hall dinner 要穿些什么？

毕竟举行的地点就在自己平时吃晚餐的地方…穿得太正式，又有些别扭。穿得太随便，又显得不尊重大会。这个问题依旧困扰着许多freshie。根据我们对smart casual的定义，就是可以穿牛仔裤，配上一件衬衫，是不是这样穿就可以了呢？？
