Our very own CD Block head, Lin Hui had a birthday which I doubt he’ll ever forget. His beloved block-mates gave him a surprise when he least expected it. It all began 2 weeks before the celebration, when a Facebook private event invitation was sent to friends to witness or to be part of this memorable moment.
The equipments behind the success
It was titled “The day he prays he did not grow leg hair” and I guess the title was self-explanatory. The mission was simple, we had to shave his androgenic or rather, leg hair.
Eddie rising to the occasion
On 24th September, at precisely 8.50pm, 2 men budged into the CD lounge and subdued Lin Hui while the other accomplices blindfolded him. The victim was later brought into the kitchenette awaiting for his fate.

Just like every hero, Lin Hui put up a good fight. It proved to be a long night holding down the struggling birthday boy. After he finally succumbed to his inevitable fate, the executers were baffled by the thick and bushy hair that got stuck in the shaver every now and then. It took concerted effort to return the silkiness to his leg
