On 11th January 2012, CD block residents had their first block supper for Semester 2. The theme was “Back to School” and some sporting residents turned up in their school uniforms.
The block supper kicked off with a welcoming session for both new and existing residents. The CD Resident Fellow A/P Chong said a few words and also invited the newcomers to share a little about themselves. In addition to welcoming everyone back from the holidays, there was also a mass celebration of some residents’ birthdays.
After the celebration, the CD block supper moved on to the highlight of all suppers – FOOD! There were crabsticks, nuggets and cupcakes among others. While eating, residents also engaged in old-school games like the “eraser game” which centred upon flipping your eraser over and onto that of your opponent’s.
This CD block supper is just the first of the many more wonderful suppers to come – CD residents would definitely be looking forward to the next CD block supper.
