The Middle East. What sort of images do these two words conjure in your brain? Long luscious robes, burkhas, languid resort lifestyles, rubies and sapphires, unbridled opulence, Sex and the City II, sheer shawls, harem pants… well, this endless list is precisely the inspiration for this year’s much-anticipated Dinner and Dance: Night of the Black Gold! That we, the D&D Committee, have carefully chosen this theme attests to the very spirit of this event itself: the element of fun and laughter. So let your imagination run wild, go crazy piecing together Princess Jasmine or Genie costumes — and get your tickets now if you haven’t. Enjoy a entire evening of good food, entertainment, and of course, company; you can’t say you’ve experienced what hall has to offer if you choose to miss out on the event of the year.
Night of the Black Gold will be held on the evening of 26th March at NUSS Guild House. Tickets are priced at 25$ each and are available from any D&D Committee member. Come along down and join us for a fun-filled night!
